We are a reformed congregation … and always reforming. We believe that worship should be reverent and joyful!
Psalm 96:9 “Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before Him all the earth.”
Our reverence flows from our understanding and belief that our God is a holy God, who is worthy of being worshiped by his creatures, especially those He has redeemed by the blood of his Son.
Psalm 92:4 “For you make me glad by your deeds, O Lord; I sing for joy at the works of your hands.”
Our joy flows from hearts that understand and believe that He has loved us and made us objects of His grace and mercy, totally undeserving of His many spiritual and physical blessings.
Psalm 95:6 “Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our maker.”
Because God is the center and focus of our worship, our services include the reading and preaching of God’s word, prayer, praise, tithes and offerings, and the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Psalm 89:1 “I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.”
We believe families should worship and serve the Lord together. We have nursery care for infants and toddlers, but we encourage parents to teach even young children how to worship our Lord.
